Job Description

Nokia of America Corporation, System Validation Engineer (Multiple Positions) Dallas, TX.

Salary Range: $105,914 - $131,362 USD per year

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)


Perform end to end system integration and verification of software before customer delivery. Perform requirement analysis, build-up, verification, and reporting for system compatibility and verification. Define test cases and test descriptions for specified features and software releases. Develop test case automation scripts and validate it in the test environment. Provide end to end technical support for 5G, 4G RAN products and related technologies during early demo and pre/post-sale phases. Support lab engineers in troubleshooting and maintaining 5G RAN labs system build up, including commissioning and integration. Perform maintenance software delivery testing, release testing, software audits, and performance management testing during software upgrades. Provide feedback to develop tools and processes to enhance team efficiency and the competitiveness of Nokia's offerings based on customer feedback, standards, and regulatory requirements. #LI-DNI


JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Skills required: Troubleshooting and providing on-site technical support for RAN commissioning, integration, and software upgrade; testing RAN features; IP technology and tools for interfaces with RAN, including: WCDMA, LTE, 5G RAN, and Cloud RAN; Linux, Red Hat OCP, Windriver, Windows, or Android Operating Systems; Java, Python, C/C++, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, SQL, SQLAlchemy, or Eclipse languages; Spring Boot, AngularJS, React, SQLite, and MongoDB frameworks; and Linux/Unix, Docker, Git, or REST API tools.

Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%.

Travel to various international locations required up to 5%.

Skills may be gained through experience or academic coursework. Qualifying education, coursework, and/or experience may have been gained concurrently.
