This internship will start May 28th and continue through at least the Fall semester.
The Government Affairs Intern will support the entire PEXNA Government Affairs team on internal strategy and management of administrative tasks as well as assist with covering chemicals, environmental and safety regulations, energy policy, and other related government regulatory and legislative issues.
What You'll Get To Do:
  • Manage office administrative tasks including, but not limited to, the following: schedules, electronic file organization, business colleague visits, PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, and updates
  • Coordinate with other government affairs team members to cover and research chemicals, environmental and safety regulations, energy policy, and other related government regulatory and legislative issues
  • Facilitate collaboration between business units and outside entities including trade associations, government officials, and competing businesses

What You'll Bring:

  • Must be at least a college junior in good standing
  • Knowledge of and interest in energy and environmental policy and regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of emissions management and/or human rights due diligence
  • Ability to be flexible and take on assignments not directly related to portfolio
  • Ability to conduct research and gather information, as needed
  • Cross-cultural fluency and previous experience in multi-lingual, multi-cultural work environment

Hourly Range: $17.00 - $38.00

The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
