The Mortgage Servicing Specialist role provides the challenge and opportunity to complete essential business tasks. Detail oriented individuals with the ability to multi-task are typically most successful. This role involves in office desk work with flexible schedule options between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate updates to various mortgage statements (Billing Statement, Escrow Statement, ARM Notice, etc.). Tasks include outlining verbiage and/or data mapping updates, communicating change requirements to vendor, reviewing updated statements to confirm accuracy.
  • Complete monthly Adjustable Rate Mortgage (ARM) loan processing. Tasks include researching loan level information, resolving data discrepancies, reviewing control reports, and facilitating borrower letter processing.
  • Complete monthly Special Loans acquisition reviews including, Due Diligence, Initial and Final Conversion testing, and Post Transfer tasks.
  • Research department related escalated issues and effectively communicate with various levels of management to achieve issue resolution.
  • Review borrower complaint data and analyze trends.
  • Generate wires to return funds to borrowers upon request.
  • Update loan data in mortgage servicing system upon request.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • At least 1 year of applicable experience in a role that requires research, data analysis and problem solving
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and be comfortable working in a high energy, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills

  • Competent to strong MS Excel and Access database skills

Education
High School (required)

Experience
1 years: applicable experience in a role that requires research, data analysis and problem solving (required)
