We are seeking an innovative Sales Director to spearhead our sales and marketing efforts, driving productivity and leading a world-class sales team to new heights of success.
Starting Salary: $100K plus bonus
The Director of Sales & Marketing position is to provide full cycle sales leadership for top line revenue generation, including identifying, qualifying, negotiating, and closing business for the assigned property, as well as client support, site visits, and overseeing the property sales and service teams.
Required Prior Experience:
5+ years of hotel or industry related experience
Proven performance achieving individual and team sales productivity goals
Preferred Prior Experience:
5+ years of hotel sales and marketing experience
3+ years successfully directing a sales, catering or similar team
A strong working knowledge or experience with the Group, Negotiated Transient and Social Event segments
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
Required Technology:
Demonstrated experience with industry specific sales programs including Microsoft Office, Delphi.fdc, and/or CI/TY, particularly in detailing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
Preferred Technology:
Working knowledge of ProfitSword forecasting
Travel:
5% travel requirement
Required Physical:
8+ hours at a desk/computer
