From the high school athlete who tears an ACL to the retiree who needs a knee replacement, the Ortho Central Ambulatory Surgery Center is here for each and every one of our patients. Our expert team includes four orthopedic surgeons, a sports medicine physician, bone health experts, physical therapists, and workers' compensation specialists. Our skilled providers can treat a wide range of orthopedic injuries including sports-related fractures, foot and ankle surgery, and hip, knee and shoulder reconstructive surgery. The Ambulatory Surgery Center is open Monday through Friday to meet our patient's needs.

• Assists the surgeon during the operative procedure.
• Maintains a safe and aseptic environment in the Operating Room area.

Education

• Completion of Surgical Technologist program, achieved national certification in surgical technology preferred, or five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech.

Experience

• Encouraged to have completed a Surgical Technology program, or previous training within the medical field, or LPN with one (1) year surgical tech preferred. National Certification is preferred.

(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

Licensure/Certification

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment. Currently Oklahoma LPN license required if applicable.

Compensation

• $18.08-$29.53/hr depending on previous work experience.
