A Bank Operations Systems Admin is responsible for executing the critical technical tasks that are integral in the overall Bank Operations workflow. The incumbent will also provide a wide array of technical assistance with regards to 3rd party applications utilized in the support of paper check processing for Bank Operations and Retail locations.

Job Responsibilities:

System Administration:

  • Monitor, analyze and resolve incidents for internal users.
  • Escalate incidents to appropriate staff as necessary to ensure closure is completed in a timely fashion.
  • Administrative and internal user support of 3rd party applications and respective hardware on a daily basis, including serving an on-call rotation for afterhours support.
  • Administration of internal user access to 3rd party applications.
  • Administration of internally developed processes.

Management:

  • Data transfers between differing systems.
  • Data updates in various systems.
  • Data manipulation

Skills:

  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities and analytical skills on both software and hardware.
  • Previous system administration and support experience in a help desk support and troubleshooting role (strongly preferred).
  • Ability to quickly learn technical systems including applications, networks, servers, databases and hardware.
  • Experience with enterprise software systems, IT or process automation a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Bank Operations business processes preferred.
