As an API 653 Report Reviewer, you will perform inspection report review and perform API-653 calculations. The secondary job function is to publish final reports and provide publishing support to the lead publisher. These reports are related to the company's above-ground storage tank (AST) inspection programs in accordance with, but not limited to, API 510/570/579/653 practices.

As a API 653 Report Reviewer, you will be responsible for:

  • Composing, preparing, and/or reviewing API 653 Inspection Reports.
  • Determining recommendations based on field data for final reports.
  • Applying tank guidelines, standards, regulations to tank solutions and reports when needed.
  • Providing API 653 support to field inspection.
  • Performing final report publishing.
  • Helping assure accuracy of all information to the customer.
  • Preparing evaluation reports for additional engineering services.
  • Providing professional and efficient report delivery to customer.
  • Providing AutoCAD drawing support.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 3 years of experience in the inspection, repair, and construction of Above Ground Storage Tanks "AST's" is required
  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Services).
  • API 653 Certification preferable, obtaining API 653 Certification is required within the 1st year of employment if not already possessed
  • Have STI SP001 certification is not required but prefered
  • Have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing, including technical knowledge of all office Suite products and CAD
  • Be a self-starter and be able to work from home
  • Be able to gain access to customer sites when needed
  • Be able and available to meet stringent customer deadlines
  • Be able to work flexible hours as needed

  • The annual *pay scale for this position is between$70,000- $0,000 USD if employed in California

  • The annual pay scale for this position is between $70,000- $80,000 USD if employed in Colorado

  • The annual pay scale for this position is between $70,000- $80,000 USD if employed in New York

  • The annual pay scale for this position is between $70,000- $80,000 USD if employed in Washington

    *Pay scale for California state is effective January 1, 2023.
