Overview: Senior Clinical Business Solutions Analyst - PACS and Imaging

Hybrid Role: Mostely Remote (Work from home) with ability to be onsite as needed can be located in either Missouri, Arkansas, or Oklahoma for travel reasons.

- Formulates and defines business scope and objectives as well as infrastructure requirements through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of business and industry requirements
- Performs functional analysis, requirements, definition and application module configuration and testing.
- Experience in clinical systems, including implementations, support, configuration, optimization, etc.
- Detail oriented and capable for exploring innovative solutions to solve complex problems and address issuesable to determine appropriate course of action in complex situations.
- Responsible for conducting prototypes, developing functional specifications, data mapping, function mapping, setting of configuration tables and setting of transaction/control tables
- Has a thorough understanding of the business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and the development of solutions for the business functions
- Responsible for the identification of and resolution of gaps in the business processes. Involved in security/authorization setup, user documentation, data interface design, data migration and reconciliation
- May be involved in the installation and tuning of modification, as well as archiving data. Generally, this position has light programming skills in the appropriate language to develop scripts necessary for application functionality
- Functions as a primary liaison between Infrastructure teams and internal and external customer teams requiring infrastructure services
- Manages and cultivates the infrastructure teams relationships with internal customers and project teams
- Marshalls appropriate resources to deliver infrastructure services in support of project deliverables
- Production Support monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring, enhancing and providing advanced customer support
- Deployment/Implementation planning and executing the implementation of new applications or system integration and testing
- Design researching, recommending and designing new technologies, new configurations and enhancements to existing systems; providing consulting advice to customers on the capabilities of the environment
- Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5 years relevant technical or business work experience.
  • Required Education: Bachelors degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.
  • Other:
  • Experience working with hospital 3rd Party Applications i.e. PACS, Radiology, Cardiology, and other imaging applications. This includes implementations, support, configuration, optimization, etc.

    -Knowledge of Epic is helpful (pertaining to 3rd party application)

    -Understanding of 3rd Party Applications and workflow process into Epic

    -Understanding of information systems and technical requirements- server, network and application configuration.

  • Participates as a team member in various projects, Prepares for and participates in system design, validation and/or remediation sessions, Understands data flow and supports/develops interface files, Leads small to medium-sized projects
  • Experience with requirements managements, diagramming, use case development- Experience in process design, reengineering, and requirements documentation methodologies- Experience in the design and production of quality deliverables- General understanding of Software Development Life Cycle- Good communication skills, both verbal and written- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills- Vendor relationship skills- General understanding of a variety of operating systems- Ability to work in a complex technical environmentPreferred QualificationsEducation: Bachelors degree in related field, or specialized training Licensure: n/aExperience:5 years of relevant technical or business work experienceCertification/Registration: n/aOther Skills and Knowledge:- Experience with requirements managements, diagramming, use case development- Experience in process design, reengineering, and requirements documentation methodologies- Experience in the design and production of quality deliverables- General understanding of Software Development Life Cycle- Good communication skills, both verbal and written- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills- Vendor relationship skills- General understanding of a variety of operating systems- Ability to work in a complex technical environment
