Departmental Overview

The Clinic Support Services Department gives real-time insight into patient care processes to clinicians and leadership that is key to identifying and addressing opportunities for improvement in our clinics. The department uses information, data, and technology to assist in systematically learning about our patient population as well as improving its outcomes. With the ability to utilize accurate data, our healers are able to reach a higher threshold of quality performance that aids in driving patient care forward as well as decreasing healthcare spending. A well-developed clinic support department is instrumental to better outcomes. Supporting ongoing organizational strategy with both efficient and effective data as well as corresponding analysis is vital to realization of goals and the overall health outcomes of our patients.


Job Summary

  • Demonstrated systems analyst and administrator skills with an emphasis on healthcare information systems.
  • Position requires ability to lead complex information systems projects with familiarity and utilization of project management tools.
  • The Systems Analyst II is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, maintenance, and evolution of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
  • This individual will lead and/or assist project teams and assist with the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions.
  • The individual in this position is considered to be subject matter expert in at least one major software application.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors degree in a clinical discipline, Education or Information Technology preferred.

Experience

  • Three years of clinical application support and demonstrated training experience.
  • 3 years experience with clinical systems in a clinical setting.

(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Experience with Microsoft office programs preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills preferred.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate multiple simultaneous tasks in a team environment preferred.

Compensation/Benefits

  • $28.95-$47.28/hr depending on previous work experience.
