Sumary

The Product Manager is responsible for the planning of execution throughout the Developer Experience product lifecycle. The Developer Experience includes everything from how we engage with software integrators, both current and prospective, from their first interaction with Heartland through onboarding mutual customers through the connections they build to us. Functions of this position include the following: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working with IT, Sales, Marketing, Support, Project Management, and Program Management to ensure both revenue goals and merchant experience goals are met.

Leverage a broad and deep understanding of developer experience to provide product vision and direction to teams that span the US. You will partner with multiple teams with the goal of making the Heartland Developer Experience better with every iterative change you make. You will stay current with relevant software technologies and best practices. You will act as a leader in the company and will use your influence to help make all of our products feel unified and easy to buy.

Duties
  • Define the product strategy and roadmap

  • Be an expert with respect to our competition

  • Provide a core vision, positioning and messaging statement for the product

  • Perform product demos to leadership, trainers, sales representatives and customers

  • Set pricing to meet revenue goals

  • Deliver monthly revenue forecast and results

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor degree is desirable.

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a relevant role

  • Agile software development background

  • Developer toolkit experience

  • A history of delivering on time and under budget

  • Experience with one or more project/product management tools

  • Experience leading products and people

  • Experience using your influence to get work done

  • Excellent team building and teamwork skills

  • Delivery of both greenfield and existing products

  • Excellent communication skills

  • The desire to move fast
