Departmental Overview

Norman Regional Health System's Clinic Support Services gives real-time insight into patient care to clinicians and leadership that is key to identifying and addressing care gap opportunities within our patient population. The department uses information, data, and technology to assist in systematically learning about our patient population as well as improving its outcomes. With the ability to utilize accurate data, our healers are able to reach a higher threshold of quality performance that aids in driving patient care forward as well as decreasing healthcare spending. A well-developed project management program is instrumental to building a operational network that can deliver better outcomes. Supporting ongoing organizational strategy with both efficient and effective data as well as corresponding analysis is vital to realization of goals and the overall health outcomes of our patients.


Job Summary

  • The Project Manager leads cross functional project teams and coordinates deliverables throughout the project lifecycle for assigned process improvement projects within the Norman Regional Outpatient Care (NROC).
  • Specializes in the planning, management and execution of marketing projects and needs.
  • Serves as subject matter expert of and coordinates process improvement projects.
  • Works directly with clinic leadership to develop a prioritized list of process improvement projects and serves as change agent to drive the process.
  • Coordinates and collaborates in the planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of projects. Identifies gaps in current processes through the use of mapped workflows and observations and develops SMART goals for each project.
  • Facilitates preparation of reports to be utilized during projects and effectively presents data to leadership.

Qualifications

Education

  • Master's Degree preferred or Bachelor's Degree with five years of experience in a healthcare-related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare related field or marketing.
  • Clinic/Ambulatory based process improvement experience preferred.

(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

Licensure/Certification

  • CAPM or PMP preferred
  • Six Sigma/LEAN Certification preferred

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Knowledge of healthcare-related research methods and data analysis techniques.
  • Understanding of Marketing and Promotion techniques.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate multiple simultaneous tasks in a team environment.
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis on Excel, Visio, and Powerpoint preferred.
  • Expert level knowledge of PDSA preferred
