Description

The Documentation Department supports our default servicing operations. This includes facilitating delivery of original collateral documents, recording documents with the county, and curing title defects. The reporting specialist position will provide analysis and reporting support for department management. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining a thorough understanding of department processes, systems, and key data elements.

Primary duties will include:

  • Gather and analyze data
  • Maintain and update current management reporting
  • Identify and facilitate reporting enhancements and automation
  • Propose process improvements and provide value analysis of recommendation
  • Create new control reporting
  • Present reporting and findings to management and other stakeholders
  • Track and execute ad hoc department projects

Additional responsibilities will include assisting with team tasks such as reviewing and processing loan documents, working with 3rd party vendors, completing loan level research, and updating system records.

Position Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • This position requires a minimum of 1 years' experience in reporting
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to analyze and report large data sets
  • Aptitude to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Possess a strong desire to learn and adapt to new regulatory requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Access and Excel

Preference will be given to those with a bachelor's degree in a business related field. Prior mortgage servicing experience preferred.
