JOB SUMMARY: Supports government enterprise architecture team for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at the Mike Maroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, OK. Position is responsible for data stewardship/governance with regards to data quality, accuracy and compliance.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Applies basic technical knowledge in the performance of system certifications/accreditations and other information security related tasks under the close direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced technical specialist.
• Assists in maintaining security documents such as Business Impact Assessments (BIA), System Security Plans (SSP), Information System Contingency Plans (ISCP), System Characterization Document (SCD), Configuration Management Plans (CMP), Privacy Impact Analysis (PIA) and other security documents.
• Assists in conducting risk analysis of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities and threats; recommends mitigation actions needed to address.
• Assists in the development of systems security contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures.
• Assists in conducting on-site and remote analyses of information systems in order to determine overall technical features and capabilities, and the security protection required.
• Assists in conducting vulnerability scanning of information systems. Compiles reports based on vulnerability scans detailing compliance.
• Additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 3 years experience installing, maintaining or managing one of the following: IT Network Devices, Physical / Virtual Servers. Operating Systems / Platforms (Linux, Windows, UNIX, Solaris, Oracle, SQL, MySQL).

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years experience in Information Technology

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Information Systems or other related discipline.
