Location: University of Oklahoma Medical Center
Shifts Available: Full-Time (40 hours/week) 8 hour shifts
General Description:
Under limited direction, have authority, responsibility and accountability for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of wound and ostomy throughout OU Medical System.
Essential Responsibilities:

General Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program preferred
Experience: Two (2) years experience in Nursing.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC). Board Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse, Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse, or Certified Ostomy Continence Nurse certifications preferred. For AD to BSN student, obtain certification within 18-24 months post BSN. Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have current knowledge of nursing role in wound-ostomy care. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
