Job Description

Games Library includes more than 400 types of games: Numerical Lotteries, TV Lottery Games, Sports Lotteries, Fixed Odds Betting, Instant Lotteries, Pari-mutuel, Video Lottery and Monitor Games.

Education, Training and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or similar; or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Four (4) years related experience in sales or in a related area

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations to key decision makers
  • Ability to create, compose and edit written materials
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and manage projects to completion
  • Organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Work requires significant travel throughout all areas of Wyoming to current and potential clients
  • Ability to acquire technical knowledge of the lottery equipment and train others on use of equipment
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
  • Must possess self-management skills to effectively manage daily, weekly and monthly schedule with minimal direct supervision
  • Must have the ability to quickly comprehend technical features of our products and services
  • Willingness to quickly gain knowledge of Intralot, Inc. organizational structure, functions, policies, procedures, communication channels, and objectives
  • Computer literacy skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint or comparable
  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with management, staff and Lottery personnel; assess the effectiveness and correctness of programs; interact with and gain the cooperation of managers, other employees, the Lottery and the retailers to maintain effective working relationships

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the Retail Sales Manager, performs the following duties and responsibilities. Other miscellaneous duties may be assigned.


  • Assist with the replacement of lottery equipment in retail locations
  • Identify and qualify new accounts, opportunities and leads.
  • Present and market company products and services to potential clients
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and self-manage the number of contacts necessary to meet sale quotas.
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals
  • Communicate new product and sale opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  • Perform on-site training for new retailers and follow-up on-site training for existing retailers as needed.
  • Assist in managing the communications with, and training of, the retailer network, as well as assist with retail sale events, promotions as assigned.
  • Develop and present marketing deliverables as required
  • Participate in strategic/marketing planning sessions with the lottery as required.
  • Participate in player relations and player development through in-store events and product sampling, as assigned.
  • Complete required training activities and programs.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Retail Sales Manager.

Security Requirements

Submission to, and ability to pass, a thorough pre-employment background check by the required State Lottery and Intralot Inc. is a requirement of employment. A pre-employment drug screening is also a requirement.
