SUMMARY:
The Welder is an important member of the manufacturing team and is responsible for the welding of various components.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

- Reads blueprint or job order for product.
- Tig weld per AWS D17.1 2000 weld standard
- Advises Lead when tooling becomes worn to the point that tooling can be replaced or repaired.
- Cleans and maintains workspace
- Welds products in weld fixtures per prints with little or no support.
- Fits materials into weld fixtures.
- Coordinates with manufacturing to ensure parts meet proper specifications.
- Verifies that parts are of high quality and exceed customer’s expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge/Skills/Education)

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
